Busted! Don’t Believe These Sales And Marketing Myths!

The most common myth that we have heard is that we are a pyramid scheme. This myth exists due to a handful of other sales companies that recruit family and friends and make you buy their product, only receive a commission, and have to do their own tax deductions. We are not a pyramid scheme. The main differences are that our staff are employees who receive a base pay, payroll companies do our tax deductions, you do not have to buy the product as it is put on consignment, you do not have to recruit family or friends, we provide recruiting, and we provide the events to set up at. 

Myth 2: Strictly commission based work 
Many people believe that sales and marketing companies work strictly on a commission basis. This is another common myth we have heard going around. We are not strictly commission-based. We offer base pay as a safety net, and commission is available for those driven by incentives.

Myth 3: We do not take no for an answer
Customers make this mistake because a lot of other sales companies will not take no for an answer. Customers should try and correct this mistake because we don’t want to force anyone to buy/donate if they are not excited about what we are doing. Customers can correct this mistake by having more of an open mind when being approached or approaching one of our events. We operate off of a one-no-and-a-go policy, so if someone tells us they have no time, money, or interest, no problem, we move on to the next person. Our goal is not to change any no’s into yes’ but to find the yeses amongst the no’s.
